Ashland Station:
Makerspace

Ashland Station is a historic building and the home of Folsom’s newest makerspace, located in The Square.

The Square is inspired by traditional town squares, where communities have long gathered to work, share ideas, and create. People who made goods, everything from clothing and tools to decorative and practical items, played a vital role in these spaces. Today, we call these creators “makers,” and their creativity continues to influence society.

In Ashland Station's makerspace, you can explore that history by trying your hand at a craft yourself. Folsom History offers a range of classes and workshops that blend historic crafts with modern techniques and technology.

From molding silver clay and sewing a square for a community quilt to weekly class that teach you how to stain glass, there is something for every maker, regardless of their skill level.

Come learn and create at Ashland Station’s makerspace. Find the right class for you by clicking one of the links below.
