Service Description
If you’ve ever wondered whether or not working with steel heated in a coal burning forge is for you, this class is a must! You will learn first hand how to work hot metal using a hammer and an anvil. This class will cover basic blacksmithing terms, safety, fire management, and introduce how to make a taper which is needed for just about any forged item. Each student will have the opportunity to make something that uses that skill during the 6 hour session. 1st Saturday - Angelo Brusatory 2nd Saturday - Jake Trogdon 4th Sunday - Victoria Ritter All new comers must take an Introductory Class typically held on the 4th Saturdays so be sure to look for that first.
